About the role

This is a full-time role based in Jindabyne, NSW. As a Fitter - Ropeway Technician at Doppelmayr Australia Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of ropeway systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.

What you'll be doing

- Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance on ropeway systems, including bullwheel bearings, sheaves, hydraulic and gearbox overhauls.

- Travelling to various customer sites to complete service work as part of a team for haul rope changes and service work.

- Assembly of current ropeway equipment.

- Maintenance and assembly of in-house equipment such as winches, powerpacks and rigging equipment.

What we're looking for

- Trade-qualified fitter

- Rigging and dogging high-risk licence

- Heavy vehicle licence (HR) preferred

- Should have familiarity with the operation and maintenance of ropeways





- Accommodation or the ability to find accommodation in Jindabyne

- Someone who likes working in the outdoors and is willing to travel
