This is a broad and influential role for an HR professional who enjoys combining strategic business partnering with hands-on employee relations expertise. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll provide trusted advice, coaching and practical people solutions across a complex, multi-site workforce. You’ll also act as a senior point of reference within the HR team, supporting and coaching other HR professionals.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner with senior leaders on complex workforce and people matters
- Lead complex employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations, performance management and workplace issues
- Provide expert advice on employment legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Support workforce planning, organisational design, talent and succession initiatives
- Coach leaders to strengthen leadership capability, team performance and employee engagement
- Support organisational change and transformation
- Use workforce data and insights to inform people decisions
- Coach and provide technical guidance to HR Business Partners and other People team members
- Drive continuous improvement across People practices and service delivery.
About you
You’ll be an experienced, pragmatic HR professional who can confidently navigate complex people matters while building trusted relationships at all levels.
You’ll bring previous experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role, ideally within a multi-site and unionised environment, together with a relevant tertiary qualification. Strong knowledge of the Australian workplace relations framework and extensive experience in complex ER case management and Enterprise Agreement interpretation will be essential.
Experience within aged care, health, community services or the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded.
Why join?
This is an opportunity to join an established leader in the aged care sector and take on a genuinely diverse senior HR role where you can influence leaders, solve complex workforce challenges and help shape organisational capability and culture.
If you’re an experienced HR Business Partner looking for breadth, complexity and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in aged care, we’d love to hear from you.
