The Opportunity

We have a rare opportunity available for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our dedicated team on a permanent full-time basis. In this role you would be responsible for leading all maintenance activities across a 24/7 manufacturing operation, ensuring the safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of plant, equipment, utilities and facilities.

This role will drive the transition from a reactive, breakdown-focused maintenance environment to a proactive reliability-centred maintenance program through the development and continuous improvement of preventative and predictive maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all maintenance activities across the site to maximise plant availability and operational performance.





- Drive the transition from reactive maintenance to proactive and predictive maintenance practices.

- Establish equipment reliability strategies that improve asset performance and reduce downtime.

- Monitor maintenance KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

- Ensure maintenance work is planned, prioritised and executed safely and efficiently.

- Lead structured root cause analysis (RCA) investigations into recurring equipment failures.

- Drive a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.

- Lead, coach and develop the trades team to achieve high levels of performance and engagement.

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Minimum 5-10 years' maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, pharmaceutical or industrial environment.

- Proven experience managing maintenance teams within a 24/7 operational environment.

- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical maintenance practices.

- Experience managing site utilities and supporting infrastructure.

- Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.

- Strong maintenance planning and scheduling capability.

- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Trade qualification.

- Hands on leadership style
