About the role

Durack Civil is looking for a high-energy Fleet & Logistics Coordinator to work alongside the Plant Superintendent and help keep a large civil construction fleet moving. You'll be coordinating servicing, chasing parts, organising floats, speaking with suppliers, following up mechanics and helping solve logistical problems that come with operating a large fleet across multiple civil construction projects.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate servicing and maintenance of the light vehicle fleet

- Order and chase plant, vehicle and workshop parts

- Coordinate suppliers, mechanics and service providers

- Organise floats and plant movements between projects

- Assist with vehicle and plant registrations, servicing schedules and records

- Track outstanding repairs, parts and maintenance requirements

- Help coordinate breakdown responses and urgent parts





- Assist the Plant Superintendent with the day-to-day running of the fleet

- Stay on top of the detail and follow things through until they're done

About you

- High energy and exceptionally organised

- Comfortable juggling a lot of moving pieces

- Relentless with follow-up

- Confident dealing with suppliers, mechanics, drivers and site teams

- Practical and willing to jump in wherever required

- Valuable on the phone and quick with systems

- Calm when plans change

- Experience in civil construction, transport, automotive, mechanical, fleet, logistics or plant hire would be highly regarded
