About the role

These positions involve supporting participants with high-intensity care requirements. Depending on the participant's individual care plan, responsibilities may include providing comprehensive high-intensity disability support, supporting bowel-care routines, following mealtime-management plans, providing personal care and hygiene support, completing manual-handling tasks and safely operating hoists, supporting medication management, assisting with community access and appointments, preparing meals, completing domestic duties, monitoring fluid intake and output, completing medication and progress charts, following care plans and risk-management strategies, and promptly reporting incidents and concerns. Kingdom Care Agency uses ShiftCare, a digital rostering and care-management platform, for receiving and managing rostered shifts, accessing participant information and completing mandatory progress notes and care documentation. Accurate documentation is an essential and non-negotiable requirement of the position.

Key responsibilities

- Providing comprehensive high-intensity disability support
- Supporting bowel-care routines in accordance with participant plans and worker training
- Following mealtime-management plans and protected eating and drinking requirements
- Providing personal care, grooming and hygiene support




- Completing manual-handling tasks and safely operating hoists
- Supporting medication management and completing medication documentation
- Assisting participants with community access, appointments and activities
- Preparing meals and assisting with cooking
- Completing domestic duties, including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Monitoring and documenting fluid intake and output

About you

- A minimum of two years' relevant disability or complex-care support experience
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or another relevant qualification
- A current medication-management certificate
- Demonstrated experience providing high-intensity or complex personal care
- Demonstrated experience with manual handling and hoist use
- A current Australian driver licence
- A reliable personal vehicle
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance/Yellow Card
- A current Working with Children Check/Blue Card
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
