About the role

Riverside Crane Hire is seeking skilled and safety-focused professionals to join our team as MC Driver and Float Operator. Working across major mining and construction projects, you'll be responsible for the safe transportation of plant, machinery and project equipment while operating a modern fleet of prime movers, floats and dolly combinations.

Key responsibilities

- Safe transportation of plant, machinery and project equipment across mine sites and project locations

- Operate well-maintained prime movers, floats and dolly configurations

- Heavy haulage and float operations

- Work across both day and night shift rotations

- Maintain high operational standards and follow procedures

- Ensure load restraint and transport compliance requirements are met

About you

- Current and valid unrestricted MC licence

- Proven float operator experience

- Experience with low loaders, floats and dolly configurations

- Heavy haulage and oversize load experience





- Solid understanding of load restraint and transport compliance requirements

- Construction industry white card

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

- Excellent attention to detail

- Strong commitment to safety, compliance and workplace culture

- Mine site experience highly regarded
