About the role

JD Galea Painting Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable, experienced and motivated Qualified Painter to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will work across residential and commercial painting projects, delivering high-quality finishes while maintaining professional standards and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

- Complete residential and commercial painting projects to a high standard

- Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, patching and priming

- Apply paints, coatings and finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite

- Follow project specifications and painting systems

- Communicate professionally with clients, builders and other trades

- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

- Maintain company tools and equipment

About you

- Relevant painting qualification or proven industry experience

- Minimum 2 years' painting experience preferred





- Strong knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques

- Ability to produce high-quality finishes

- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship

- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Current driver's licence preferred

- White Card preferred
