We have 2 exciting 1st Year Carpentry Apprenticeship opportunities available — with one position on the north side of Brisbane and one on the south side!

NTHA Trainees & Apprentices is looking for motivated and reliable people who are ready to start a career in carpentry.

You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople, gain hands-on experience and learn the skills needed to become a qualified carpenter. You'll work with timber, use power tools, assist tradespeople and help keep worksites clean and organised.

? What you'll be doing & learning

- Work with timber and building materials
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Assist experienced tradespeople with carpentry tasks
- Learn basic carpentry techniques and construction methods
- Measure, prepare and handle materials
- Keep tools and work areas clean and organised
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Work as part of a team to complete jobs
- Develop practical skills through hands-on training
- Build confidence and knowledge on the job

- Able to perform well under pressure
- Physically fit and ready for practical work
- Willing to assist tradespeople and learn on the job
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Have your own reliable transport
- Hold a White Card or be willing to obtain one
- Hold full working and study rights in Australia
