Third Wave BBQ is one of Melbourne’s leading American BBQ restaurants, known for smoked meats, great cocktails, and a fun, fast-paced atmosphere.

We are currently looking for bartenders and waitstaff to join our team. Multiple venues available. If you enjoy working in a busy workplace, love hospitality, and want to be part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.

Locations Hiring
Moorabbin – directly opposite the train station, very easy access
Albert Park – opposite a tram stop
Hawthorn – opposite a tram stop. Wait staff positions only.

Your Role

Bartender:
Prepare cocktails, beers and other beverages efficiently
Recommend drinks that pair well with our BBQ menu
Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar
Ensure responsible service of alcohol

Waitstaff
Welcome guests and guide them through the menu




Take food and drink orders accurately
Deliver food and drinks promptly
Provide attentive and friendly service throughout the guest experience

Shared Responsibilities
Process orders and payments using our POS system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the venue
Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service during busy shifts

What We’re Looking For
RSA certificate required
Minimum 1 year hospitality experience preferred
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work well in a quick-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys busy services, interacting with customers, and working as part of a strong team.
