As part of our kitchen team at Pron Prohm Thai Restaurant, you will be preparing and cooking dishes to a consistent standard, managing your allocated section during service, and maintaining food quality, presentation and portion control. You will work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff in a busy restaurant environment.
Key responsibilities
Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistent standard
Managing your allocated section during service
Food preparation and mise en place
Maintaining food quality, presentation and portion control
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
Working closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workstation
Contributing positively to a qualified and respectful kitchen environment
About you
Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy restaurant
Robust cooking and food preparation skills
Reliable, punctual and organised
Able to work efficiently under pressure
Works well within an established kitchen team
Takes responsibility for the quality and consistency of their work
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Available to work evenings and weekends as required
Experience with Thai or Asian cuisine is highly regarded
