About the role

Fresh Meats is seeking a General Accountant to join our dynamic, fast-growing family-owned business based on the Sunshine Coast. You will be a self-motivated accounts team member working in a manufacturing setting, supporting our operations throughout Queensland.

Key responsibilities
Payroll and expense approvals
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable
Credit applications
Reconciliation & reporting (BAS, month/yearend)
Fixed asset register
Records of financial documents
Yield & margin management reporting & analysis
Onboarding/offboarding through automated processes
Collaboration with HR/RRTWC for Workcover

About you
Qualifications and working knowledge of Accounting practices
Understanding of Australian pay and tax requirements
Proficiency with Xero, Excel




Excellent attention to detail, initiative and problem-solving skills
Comfort level in factory/manufacturing setting
Effective communication with other department members, including overseas
