FinXL IT Professional Services is an established cutting-edge Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.

We're looking for a Portfolio Analyst to provide financial, resource, and delivery support across IT projects, ensuring accurate reporting, insight, and governance for senior stakeholders. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering timely and reliable financial data, coordinating resource tracking, and enabling smooth project execution while supporting process improvement and portfolio management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Execute financial operations including forecasting, cost recovery, accruals, and month-end close, escalating risks as needed.
Prepare, refine, and present financial data and analytical outputs to senior stakeholders.
Track resources and effort across projects, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
Support GMs and EMs with analytical insights, responding to ad hoc requests.
Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain databases and perform quality assurance to ensure reliable data for reporting and analysis.




Apply PMO framework knowledge to align outputs with portfolio governance standards.
Liaise with Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth operations.

Knowledge & Skills Required:
Proven experience in financial and project support, including offshore or hybrid teams.
Solid financial acumen, advanced Excel, and financial modelling skills.
Experience in resource tracking, reporting, and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
Familiarity with PMO settings and CapEx project support.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly.
Experience with timesheeting systems, database maintenance, and change delivery.
Proactive approach to identifying risks and supporting portfolio or project governance.
