About the role

Doctors of Coburg North is seeking an experienced and motivated Part time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team. We are a busy, fully accredited bulk-billing general practice committed to delivering high-quality healthcare and exceptional patient service to our local community. Our clinic operates 7 days per week from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Regular Shifts:
Wednesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Thursday: 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 4:30pm

Key responsibilities
Managing patient appointments and enquiries
Greeting patients and coordinating front desk operations
Triaging and managing the waiting room
Processing Medicare and patient billings
Liaising with doctors, nurses, and allied health staff
Opening and closing the practice as required
Maintaining accurate patient records and administrative duties

About you




Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist in a General Practice clinic
Experience using Best Practice Software
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a busy setting
Skilled presentation and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and flexible
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to provide additional cover shifts when required
