Part-Time Cook – After School Care

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Cook!

We are seeking a Part time Cook to prepare nutritious and delicious afternoon tea for children attending our after-school care program.

�? Hours: 12:30pm – 5:30pm, 4–5 hours per day
Part time position
Children arrive: From 3:00pm

About the role

Before the children arrive, your main focus will be on preparing and setting up afternoon tea, ensuring the food is fresh, nutritious and appealing to children.

Once the children arrive at 3:00pm, you will assist with serving afternoon tea and maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen and food preparation area.

We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience preparing food, ideally in a childcare,



school or community setting
Enjoys preparing healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks
Understands food safety and hygiene requirements
Is reliable, organised and able to work independently
Has a warm and positive approach when working around children
Can work within childcare food safety and allergy requirements
