Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with urgent care or emergency nursing experience? Join our Geelong Urgent Care Clinic and help deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

This is a casual role with rostered shifts as required, with minimum shifts typically 5 hours. We're looking for nurses who are prepared to work to their full scope of practice, are team-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing
Conduct patient assessment and triage in line with ATS standards
Perform IV cannulation and ECG monitoring
Provide wound care, including suturing and wound glue application
Manage minor burns and musculoskeletal injuries
Undertake plastering and urinary catheter management
Identify and respond to potentially life-threatening conditions while patients await hospital transfer
Maintain infection prevention and control standards




Support the delivery of the full scope of services within a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

About you
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Experience in urgent care, emergency or acute clinical settings
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Caring, empathetic and patient-focused approach
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
