Key responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or holes
Mix and match paints and colours as required
Apply paint, primer, and other coatings to walls, ceilings, doors, and other surfaces
Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment safely and correctly
Protect floors, furniture, and other areas from paint
Ensure all painting work is neat, clean, and completed to a high standard
Follow workplace health and safety rules
Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
Work according to project schedules and instructions from supervisors
