About the role
Join our team in this rewarding Nurse Team Leader role, where you will provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients through:
Assisting the medical practitioner in delivering medical services: patient triage, acute illness, health assessments /injury management, rehabilitation and chronic disease management
Supporting the Practice Manager through coordinating and monitoring the day to day operation of the Treatment Room
Providing support and guidance to the Nursing team on clinical issues and ensuring standards are maintained
Identifying & contributing to the development of patient educational needs
Implementing and practising infection control
Skills & experience
Current AHPRA registration - Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Previous general practice experience (essential)
Previous experience in a supervisory role
Minimum 3 year post graduate experience
Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent communication skills
Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
Experience with Best Practice software
