About the role

Bentleys Newcastle is an Advisory and Accounting firm located in Broadmeadow. You will be the first point of contact for clients while providing administrative support to our Accounting and Advisory teams. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures within a busy professional services environment.

Key responsibilities
First point of contact for clients, both in person and over the phone
Managing the shared administration email inbox
Booking client meetings and supporting accountants with job setup
Maintaining client records and databases across multiple systems
Processing client correspondence and documentation, both physical and electronic
Assisting with client onboarding, identity verification and lodgement processes
Ordering office supplies and maintaining stock levels
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with firm policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

About you
A professional presentation and friendly manner




Excellent communication and customer service skills
The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy workplace
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures
Good computer skills and confidence learning current systems
A positive, team-oriented attitude
Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer-facing administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience within an accounting, legal, financial services, or other qualified services environment (desirable)
Exposure to MYOB AE and BGL CAS360 (desirable)
