Betterway Metal Australia is currently seeking General Labourers to join for an immediate start.

The role will be in office in North Parramatta / North Rocks.

About the Role

This is a hands-on yard role suited to someone who enjoys active work. You'll be working alongside our experienced crew, handling and sorting scrap metal as clients drive in with their loads. This workplace prioritises safety and efficiency. Prior experience is not necessary but a willingness to learn and work individually is required. Tasks may include:
Assisting clients to unload scrap metal from their vehicles
Handling, sorting materials
Forklift driving
General yard assistance as required to keep operations running smoothly

About You





The preferred candidates will have the following:
Availability Monday to Friday
Have at least 6 months of physical outdoor work experience in a previous role (concreting, demolition, landscaping, warehouse, removalist, or similar). Scrap experience NOT required.
Be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Be able to lift 25kg comfortably and repeatedly throughout the work day
Willingness to learn
Happy to interact with customers.
Have the right to work in Australia

Preferred but not necessary:
Forklift experience / license

Pay: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
