Your Role
Roadwest Transport is currently seeking to fill the full time position of Forklift operator / Yards person.
Key Responsibilities
Operate machinery: Drive forklifts to load, unload, stack, and move goods.
Maintain the yard: Keep work areas clean, hazard-free, and tidy.
Manage stock: Check inventory, count items, and place goods in correct zones.
Safety checks: Complete daily pre-start checks on equipment and follow safety rules.
Manual tasks: Assist with general labor and ad-hoc site duties when not driving.
Job Requirements
Valid licence:
Current High Risk Work LF Forklift Licence.
Driver's licence: Valid C class driver's licence.
Physical fitness: Ability to lift heavy items and stay active on your feet.
Communication: Valuable spoken skills to talk with truck drivers and team members.
Reliability: Strong work ethic and focus on workplace safety.
Must have PR or be an Australian Citizen. Or be in possession of valid work visa and be on shore.
Preference will be given to candidates who have a valid HC Licence
