Chef Sofra is expanding its kitchen team and is looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef to join us on a part time basis.

The successful candidate will be confident working in a busy kitchen and capable of preparing and delivering a consistent, high-quality breakfast service.

Key responsibilities:
Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard
Completing mise en place and preparing ingredients before service
Maintaining an organised, clean and effective workstation
Following food safety, hygiene and allergen-handling procedures
Preventing cross-contamination and responding appropriately to customers’ allergy requirements
Working cooperatively with the existing kitchen team
Assisting with stock rotation and minimising food waste

What we are looking for:
Previous experience as a chef or experienced cook




Experience working during breakfast or busy daytime services
Robust understanding of food safety and food allergies
Reliable, organised and able to work independently
Good communication and teamwork skills
Valid Australian working rights
Availability for morning and weekend shifts

This is a part-time position with a starting rate of $29.45 per hour. Pay will be based on experience. Superannuation will apply.
