We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and hands-on Canteen Assistant to join our team at Grantham. If you enjoy cooking, creating menu options, and supporting staff in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your Role:

Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll play a key part in keeping our plant team nourished and happy. From preparing and serving meals to managing supplies and maintaining a clean kitchen, you’ll ensure the canteen runs smoothly every day.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Prepare and serve meals for staff, catering to a variety of tastes.




Manage regular ordering and stock takes of canteen supplies.
Maintain a clean, protected, and effective kitchen environment.
Cook a variety of meals and create new daily menu options for staff.
Use cafeteria-style point-of-sale software to process transactions.

Experience in food service or hospitality.
Confident using point-of-sale systems.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
Organised, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate about preparing quality meals and supporting a team.
