We are seeking a skilled Data and Communications Technician to join our Brisbane/Gold Coast team on a casual or sub-contractor basis. If you’re looking for adaptable work with variety and the opportunity to be involved in larger commercial projects, this role could be a excellent fit.

You’ll primarily be working across a range of commercial installations, including cellular network upgrades and the installation of DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) in large commercial buildings and multi-site locations. There will also be occasional residential AV, TV and connectivity installations.

This role would suit an experienced NBN installer, communications cabler or telecommunications technician. Experience with fitting off is highly regarded, as is holding an ACMA Open Cabler Licence.

this role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, wants adaptable work, earns a great hourly rate and takes pride in delivering high-quality work as part of a supportive team.

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 38.0 per week

Experience:
communications cabling: 2 years (Preferred)
Power tool: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:
ACMA Open Cablers Registration (Preferred)
Do you have an EWP(under 11m) licence? (Preferred)
Do you have a blue card or willing to obtain? (Preferred)
Do you have a working at heights certificate? (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
25% (Preferred)
