At Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport, we are seeking an energetic and detail-focused Public Area Attendant to join our friendly and professional in-house Housekeeping team.

In this role, you’ll help ensure our hotel’s public areas are presented to the highest standard, creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming experience for every guest.

What you'll do:
Clean and maintain hotel public areas including lobbies, corridors, lifts, restaurants and other guest areas
Ensure public spaces are consistently clean, tidy and presented to Crowne Plaza brand standards
Vacuum, mop, dust and polish surfaces as required
Clean and maintain public bathrooms
Replenish guest amenities and supplies as required
Report maintenance issues, hazards or damaged items promptly
Assist with deep cleaning and other Housekeeping tasks as required
Respond to guest requests in a friendly and helpful manner
Maintain a clean and organised work area and equipment

What we're looking for:
Previous Housekeeping experience in a full service hotel preferred
A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
Reliable, punctual and well-presented




Great communication style, making guests feel at ease
Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
The role requires valuable physical fitness, as you will be on your feet for most of the day and need to bend and kneel frequently
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends and public holidays
Must have full working rights for Australia
