About the role

JC Maintenance & Contracting PTY LTD is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance technician to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. This is a full-time position, with adaptable working hours available. As a Maintenance tech, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the efficient upkeep of our client properties.

What you'll be doing
Carrying out general maintenance and household repair tasks
General repairs of fences, plaster, tiling and painting
Household repairs such as doors, clotheslines, windows and flooring
Assist with concreting, paving and landscaping projects
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
Responding promptly to client requests and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth coordination of maintenance activities

What we're looking for
Previous experience in a maintenance or labouring role, ideally in the property or construction industry
Valuable practical skills and the ability to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks




A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
Robust customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
A flexible and adaptable approach to work, willing to take on a range of tasks as needed
A valid driver's licence
WWVP and National police check mandatory
Robust use of technology, including emails, mobile and iPad
