This role involves teaching Mathematics and English classes from Prep to Grade 8. Initially, the position will include one or two permanent classes each week, along with casual relief teaching when other tutors are absent.
Additional responsibilities will include marking Mathematics and English workbooks for a fixed number of hours each week. During the first couple of months, the role may involve a limited number of hours while the employee’s suitability and overall involvement are assessed. Over time, additional teaching, marking and administrative hours may become available, depending on the employee’s performance, commitment and involvement in the role.
Flexibility is essential, as the position will also require covering classes when other teachers are unavailable.
Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 8.0 per week
Work Location: In person
