We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing technology program delivering complex cloud and infrastructure capabilities within a secure government environment.

This is an chance for someone who enjoys getting hands-on with Azure, DevSecOps, infrastructure automation and cloud security, and wants to play a genuine role in building and improving cloud platforms.

You’ll work across a broad technical setting, helping design secure cloud foundations, automate deployments and improve how infrastructure and applications are delivered.

What you’ll be working on:

Designing and implementing Azure cloud infrastructure

Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code

Developing automated deployment and self-service capabilities

Strengthening cloud security and governance

Working across Azure DevOps and DevSecOps

Supporting Linux-based environments and Java applications

Implementing Azure security controls including RBAC, Azure Policy and Defender for Cloud

Monitoring cloud environments, performance and utilisation





Improving vulnerability management and security processes

Working closely with architects, developers and technical stakeholders

Contributing to Agile delivery and technical design

Sharing knowledge and helping mature DevOps practices across the team

We’re looking for someone with:

5+ years’ experience working in DevOps environments, ideally across complex data or analytics platforms

Experience developing and maintaining IaC using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell and/or YAML

A strong understanding of cloud security, governance and automation

The ability to work comfortably with both technical and senior stakeholders

Experience working in highly secure or regulated settings
