Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our dental team, ensuring patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable and organised workplace. Duties
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
Ensure patient comfort by providing clear explanations and support throughout treatment.
Maintain sterilisation of dental instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs as required, adhering to safety standards.
Organise patient records, appointment schedules, and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
Provide post-treatment instructions to patients and answer any queries they may have.
Support with general clinic organisation, including stock management of dental supplies.
Communicate effectively with patients, team members,



and external providers to facilitate smooth operations.

Requirements
Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and scheduling systems.
Strong organisational skills to coordinate appointments and maintain accurate records.
Knowledge of nursing principles related to oral health is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism and empathy towards patients.
A recognised qualification or certification in dental assisting or relevant healthcare field is preferred but not mandatory. Job Types: Part time, Permanent

Pay: $20,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 – 38 per week
