About you:

We are looking for caring, experienced and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our energetic team.

The ideal candidate will be:
Assist the Chef with meal preparation, cooking and plating.
Prepare ingredients and follow recipes, menus and dietary requirements.
Assist with special diets and texture-modified meals as required.
Ensure meals are prepared and served safely and on time.
Maintain high standards of food safety,



hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
Assist with stock rotation, storage and minimising food waste.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas.
Work collaboratively with the Chef and kitchen team.
Support a positive dining experience for residents.

Food safety and hygiene knowledge.

Reliable, organised and able to work in a busy environment.
Aged care kitchen experience is desirable.
