We are seeking an experienced and skilled Professional Climbing Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a proficient climber with a robust commitment to safety, contemporary arboricultural standards, and high-quality tree care. You will lead on-site operations, execute complex tree work, and mentor ground crew members.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced tree care operations, including technical removals, precision pruning, canopy thinning, and deadwooding.
Utilise modern climbing systems (SRT/DRT) and advanced rigging techniques safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-work hazard assessments and enforce strict site safety protocols.
Maintain climbing gear, chainsaws, and heavy equipment in peak working condition.
Lead and direct ground crew on site to ensure job specs and safety standards are met.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 2–3+ years of skilled production climbing experience.
Certifications: Certificate III in Arboriculture (or equivalent ISA certification) highly regarded.
Licenses: Valid driver's license (MR/HR license preferred).
Tickets: White Card, First Aid/CPR, and Aerial Rescue certifications.
Skills: Proficient in gear inspection, complex rigging, spurless pruning, and drop-zone management.
