About Us:

Café Cornucopia is excited to expand to Balmain East, a stunning location with direct views of the iconic Harbour Bridge. Located at 58 Darling Street, our new café is set to become a local favourite, offering not only exceptional coffee but also a cozy atmosphere with a breathtaking backdrop. We pride ourselves on building lasting relationships with our customers, and, much like the Canaanite tradition of being a “customer’s best friend,” we believe in creating a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home.

The Role:

We are on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team. The right candidate will be highly skilled in specialty coffee, with the ability to consistently deliver top-notch espresso-based drinks. Latte art skills are a big plus, as we aim to provide both delicious and visually appealing beverages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Craft and serve high-quality espresso-based coffee and beverages
Consistently maintain the highest standards of coffee preparation and presentation
Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, embodying our “customer’s best friend” philosophy
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar
Be a part of creating a relaxed yet memorable café experience,



with attention to detail in every cup
Help foster a positive, team-oriented setting

Key Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a barista in a rapid-paced café setting
Deep knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and milk texturing techniques
Proficiency in latte art and other advanced coffee-making skills
Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and outgoing attitude
Team player who can work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment
Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends
