About the role

Castlereagh Boutique Hotel is looking for a friendly, qualified and enthusiastic Bar Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and has a genuine interest in food and beverage.

Key responsibilities
Provide friendly, qualified and effective service to hotel guests and patrons
Prepare and serve beer, wine, spirits, cocktails and other beverages
Take customer orders accurately and process transactions through the POS system
Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented bar area
Restock beverages, glassware and other bar supplies as required
Assist with stock rotation, stock control and minimising wastage
Make recommendations and upsell beverages where appropriate
Ensure responsible service of alcohol (RSA) requirements are followed at all times





About you
Has previous bar or hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel, restaurant or function environment
Holds a current NSW RSA certificate
Has excellent customer service and communication skills
Is confident, reliable and well presented
Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Has a positive attitude and robust work ethic
Is able to work independently as well as part of a team
Is flexible and available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
