We are looking for kind, dependable and person-centred Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants living on Russell Island.

We believe outstanding support starts with a genuine relationship. Every participant is different, and we want support workers who are willing to understand the individual - their personality, interests, routines, preferences and goals.

Your role may involve helping someone get out into the community, supporting daily routines, assisting with personal care, preparing meals, attending appointments, enjoying hobbies or simply providing companionship and encouragement.
Supporting participants with their daily routines
Personal care and daily living assistance
Meal preparation and household support
Community access and social activities
Supporting appointments and outings
Encouraging independence and confidence
Supporting individual NDIS goals
Providing companionship and meaningful connection
Respecting each participant's choices, routines and preferences
Completing progress notes and required documentation

We're looking for someone who is:

A valuable listener and communicator




Comfortable getting to know participants and building genuine connections
Respectful of different personalities, abilities and lifestyles
Able to encourage independence without taking over
Versatile and willing to work around individual participant needs

Previous NDIS experience is highly regarded, but attitude and personality are just as important to us.

Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check
HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
Relevant disability/support qualification or willingness to obtain
Working with Children Check, where applicable
Driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred
