The Food Forum is a locally owned, busy fresh produce store / butcher trading 7 days a week in the Belconnen, Westfield shopping centre.

We are currently seeking an experienced Fruit & Vege/ grocery manager / store manager to join our team.

Duties for this role include:
Managing staff: including managing staff rosters, hiring of current staff, training, providing leadership and influencing staff culture and lastly maintaining moral in the workforce.
Quality control: Ensuring that a high standard of quality is maintained across all departments, at all times in the store.
Stock Management: ensuring all stock is rotated, handled, merchandised and stored correctly
Ordering: Ordering and maintaining correct stock levels across all departments
Customer service:



Maintaining a great level or customer service for every person that enters the store
Minimizing Shrinkage and wastage throughout the store
Ensuring Food safety and WHS guidelines are met at all times

Successful applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be able to work well in a team setting
Keep calm under pressure
Have a robust focus on customer service
Maintain a high quality of work in retail and wholesale
Diligently follow company procedures
5am start
Weekend work

Minimum 2 years experience required in a management position or high level supermarket position!

Bonus points for extended knowledge of Meat department and/or Fruit and Vege
