The Media and Communications team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Communications Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity

We are looking for a passionate communications all-rounder to join the Mackay HHS Media and Communications team. This role ensures the Mackay HHSs communication strategies, policies and outputs are implemented and managed effectively through the provision of media relations, digital communications and internal communications.

About the Team

This is your opportunity to join a small team of communicators who work in a fast-paced setting to support the work of our healthcare professionals across the region. You will support the delivery of internal and external communications across a variety of platforms. You will also be able to utilise your design skills for the creation of publications,



posters and website content.
