About the role

Operators assist in the operation and basic maintenance of all blower and slinger trucks in the tasks of bulk delivery of mulch and soil for landscaping, erosion control, environmental rehabilitation and dust control. Operators are site based and will perform manual handling landscaping activities and will adhere to the strict health and safety regulations that govern our industry. As a Trainee in this role, you are expected to learn how to competently and professionally utilise all PMB machinery to complete projects.

Key responsibilities
Protected operation of blower and slinger trucks and associated equipment
Site preparation and clean-up
Day-to-day maintenance of equipment
General upkeep of equipment through regular maintenance
Maintenance and upkeep of Company vehicles




Maintenance and upkeep of Company depots and facilities
Recording of works undertaken
Leadership of Operations Assistants
Review and update JHAs daily and SWMS as applicable
Complete as-built records and all QA records and management as required by the projects

About you
HC Driver's Licence
Construction Induction Safety card
Traffic Management ticket
Wheel Loader Operations ticket
Telehandler VOC
Working at Heights ticket
Horticultural qualification or equivalent industry experience
First Aid
Demonstrated working knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
Demonstrated ability to deliver project outcomes safely and productively
