Our client is seeking an experienced WHS Manager to lead workplace health and safety across a national business delivering complex automation, logistics and warehouse solutions to its clients.
This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation where safety is a genuine business priority. Working closely with operational leaders, project teams and senior management, you'll provide both strategic direction and hands-on support to strengthen safety culture, ensure legislative compliance and drive continuous improvement across multiple projects and operational sites.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and continuously improve the organisation's WHS Management System.
Partner with operational leaders to build a proactive safety culture.
Lead incident investigations, risk assessments and corrective actions.
Develop and review WHS policies, procedures and secure systems of work.
Monitor legislative compliance and coordinate internal and external audits.
Deliver WHS reporting, coaching and training across the business.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects and operations.
About You
We're looking for an experienced WHS professional who can influence stakeholders,
build robust working relationships and provide practical safety leadership across energetic project environments.
You may have experience in:
Automation and warehouse solutions
Logistics and distribution
Manufacturing or industrial operations
Construction or project delivery
Engineering or infrastructure
Materials handling or industrial services
You'll ideally have:
A qualification in Work Health and Safety (min. Dip) or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in a WHS leadership role within construction, manufacturing, logistics or industrial operations.
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and safety management systems.
Experience leading incident investigations, audits and risk management activities.
Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
The ability to work collaboratively with operational leaders while influencing positive safety outcomes.
Aus Driver's licence and White card.
