Doctors at Landsborough is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our family practice in Landsborough, Queensland, on a Casual basis.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality customer service to our patients and supporting the smooth running of our medical practice and build rapport with our team and patients.

n

What you'll be doing

n

Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and qualified manner
n
Scheduling and managing the practice's appointments
n
Handling patient enquiries via phone, email, and in person
n
Preparing and organising patient files and medical records
n
Performing basic administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
n
Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
n
Providing support to the clinical team as required
n

What we're looking for

n

n
Experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry is preferred but not essential
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and empathetic manner
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
n
Proficient in basic computer skills, and experience using or the ability to quickly learn medical practice management software
n
A genuine interest in the healthcare sector and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
n
A positive, friendly, and skilled attitude
