Hybrid working, with three days in the Newcastle office
BAU work supporting an established Data team
This is a hands‑on role that would suit an experienced Inventory Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Materials Analyst or Coordinator who is confident working with SAP and Excel and enjoys getting into the detail of inventory data.
The role
Working closely with Inventory, Purchasing, Maintenance and Master Data teams, you will:
Extract, validate and analyse inventory and purchasing data from SAP
Monitor inventory and MRP exceptions and drive actions through to resolution
Support inventory reconciliations, data validation and cleansing
Work extensively with Excel to analyse and manipulate inventory data
Maintain and support existing Power BI and Excel reporting
Coordinate actions across Inventory, Purchasing, Maintenance and Master Data teams
Provide ad hoc analysis and general BAU inventory support
About you
The key to this role is solid SAP and Excel capability, combined with an understanding of inventory, materials or supply chain.
Ideally, you will have:
Hands‑on experience using SAP within an inventory, materials or supply chain environment
Robust Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
Previous experience across inventory, MRO, materials, purchasing or broader supply chain
Experience with Power BI reporting would be highly regarded
Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
