Join the renowned Acoustics team at Thales Rydalmere to support the build and assembly of high-precision underwater acoustic and sonar systems for defense and commercial applications. You will work alongside a team of expert technicians and engineers to build, test, and integrate critical electrical and electromechanical assemblies.

What You'll Be Doing

Point-to-point wiring, cable looming, and component assembly.
n
Fine soldering and sub-assembly integration.
n
Basic continuity testing using multimeters.
n
Following explicit visual assembly instructions and schematics.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
Trade qualification NOT required—hands-on experience in fine assembly, soldering, cable harnessing, or detailed mechanical/electrical work is what counts.




n
Solid attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
n
Ability to read basic technical drawings or instructions.
n
Reliable work ethic and good team attitude.
n
Must be an Australian Citizen (required to explicit a basic Defence Security Check).
