Job Description

Photograph wedding ceremonies, receptions, and related sessions (engagement shoots, bridal prep, family portraits) as booked. Work collaboratively with couples, wedding parties, and other vendors on the day to capture key moments smoothly and unobtrusively. Deliver a well-composed, technically sound, and emotionally engaging set of images per shoot brief.

Key responsibilities

Photograph wedding ceremonies, receptions, and related sessions (engagement shoots, bridal prep, family portraits) as booked

n

Work collaboratively with couples, wedding parties, and other vendors on the day to capture key moments smoothly and unobtrusively

n

Deliver a well-composed, technically sound, and emotionally engaging set of images per shoot brief

n

Bring and maintain your own skilled camera gear, backup equipment, and memory cards

n





Communicate availability promptly and confirm bookings in a timely manner

n

About you

n

Robust portfolio showing your photography style (wedding experience is a plus, but not required - we welcome talented shooters looking to grow into weddings)

n

Own qualified-grade camera equipment (full-frame body recommended), lenses, and backup gear

n

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working long hours on wedding days

n

Strong people skills - confident directing shots while remaining friendly and unobtrusive

n

Based in or able to travel to Sydney and surrounding areas

n

Availability on weekends (most weddings are Friday-Sunday)
