An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Project Officer to support the delivery of strategic and corporate initiatives within a WA Government environment. Working within Corporate Strategy and Performance, you will contribute across project delivery, policy, governance, strategic planning, reporting and research while supporting improved organisational capability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate complex projects supporting organisational strategy and corporate priorities
Develop and operationalise corporate policies and governance frameworks
Support the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic plans and associated initiatives
Undertake research and analysis to support strategic advice on critical organisational issues
Develop and maintain corporate reporting, guidelines, policies, tools and resources
Contribute expertise across governance, strategy, compliance, performance and public sector management
Support corporate service audits and coordinate responses to audit findings
Build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships across strategy, governance and performance initiatives




Monitor progress against strategic and operational priorities and initiatives

Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in the management and coordination of projects
Demonstrated experience in the development of corporate policies and governance frameworks
Strategic planning and project coordination
Corporate policy and governance framework development
Research and analysis
Corporate reporting and high-level written communication
Governance, compliance and performance management
Stakeholder engagement and relationship management
Ability to build productive working relationships
Strong personal drive, integrity and accountability
Effective communication and influencing skills

Working Conditions

Perth CBD location with one WFH day. This is a 9-month fixed term chance with an immediate start available.
