An chance has presented itself for Train Crew Development Specialist to join our team in Rockhampton.

What You'll Do

n

Support the development, training and assessment of train crew to ensure safe and professional rail operations.

n

Reporting to the Superintendent you will:

n

n
Plan, prioritise and deliver compliant technical driver training
n
Develop and manage individual training plans aligned to operational needs
n
Implement and deliver training plans, training sessions and assessment activitiesTrain, assess and mentor train crew to meet Rail Safety Worker competency requirements
n
Ensure competencies, assessments, currency and records are completed on time
n
Work closely with Operational Leaders and Training Specialists to ensure consistent outcomes
n




Promote a strong safety culture and knowledge-sharing environment
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
Current accreditation as a Locomotive Driver with Cert IV in Train Driving
n
Cert IV in Training and Assessment
n
Strong track record of safely operating locomotives
n
Proven experience coaching, mentoring, influencing and motivating others
n
Ability to enhance and contribute to a strong team culture
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels
n
