An opportunity exists for a HSE Advisor to join the team on the north side of Brisbane.

This role is five days per week on site.

About the role
As the HSE Advisor, you will take accountability for working with leaders, production and projects to ensure HSE across the operations. You will foster a safety culture through training, inductions, engagement and support of standard operating procedures and HSE systems to ISO standards. Working collaboratively with the team, you will follow up and foster a hearts and minds safety culture, undertaking risk assessments and reviews to ensure continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of HSE, including investigations, chair the HSE committee, HSE systems management and influence secure work at all times.

You will use your strong stakeholder engagement skills to:




Work collaboratively with Team Leaders to support safety initiatives;
Drive continuous improvement of company wide processes to improve safety at work;
Ensuring all activities are managed according to ISO standards; and
Provide training and support for teams to inspire HSE with a collaborative mindset.

About you
As an experienced HSE professional, you will ideally have worked in engineering or manufacturing industries, whilst working to ISO or equivalent standards. You will also hold a Return to Work Coordinator certificate. You enjoy being able to work with a team to deliver outcomes and your ‘can do’ attitude, influencing skills and attention to detail, collectively will see you foster continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity to build on your experience, whilst taking the lead for HSE onsite.
