What You'll Do
Lead the company's purchasing and pricing strategy end to end
Build and manage vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, terms, and cost-saving opportunities that move the needle
Develop and execute pricing strategies that protect margins while keeping the company competitive
Maintain the integrity of the item file — current items, cost updates, vendor assignments,



and pricing accuracy
Monitor gross margins, purchasing performance, and departmental spending through ongoing reporting and analysis
Coach and develop the Purchasing Coordinator, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

What You Bring
3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, pricing, merchandising, or category management
Food retail, grocery, foodservice, hospitality, or distribution background preferred
Strong vendor negotiation skills and relationship management instincts
Solid analytical and financial acumen with a problem-solver's mindset
Experience with ERP or retail merchandising systems
