Integrity and Excellence guide everything we doReward for your work – competitive remuneration and access to the Georgiou Perks discounts platformAbout the roleAs Workshop Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and coordination of the site maintenance team, ensuring the project's fleet is maintained to high standards of safety, reliability and availability.You'll oversee planned and preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing and breakdown repairs while working closely with the construction team to prioritise maintenance activities and minimise equipment downtime.The role will also see you monitor maintenance performance, workshop costs and productivity while providing strong leadership and direction to the maintenance crew.What you'll be doingLead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the site maintenance teamPlan and prioritise preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing and breakdown repairsEnsure plant and equipment is maintained to required safety, reliability and availability standardsWork closely with the construction and production teams to prioritise maintenance requirements and minimise equipment downtimeMonitor fleet performance and identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency and equipment availabilityManage workshop and maintenance resources effectivelyMonitor and control maintenance and workshop costsReview and report on maintenance performance with a focus on efficiency and productivityProvide strong leadership,



direction and support to maintenance personnelEnsure maintenance activities and documentation are completed to required standardsMaintain a robust focus on safety across workshop and field maintenance activitiesEnsure all maintenance activities comply with Georgiou's safety, quality and project requirementsYour skills and experienceAustralian recognised Heavy Duty Fitter / Plant Mechanic trade qualificationDemonstrated experience supervising a heavy mobile plant maintenance teamStrong experience maintaining CAT or similar heavy earthmoving equipmentProven experience across equipment including scrapers, dozers, graders, wheel loaders, excavators and trucksStrong understanding of preventative maintenance, breakdown management and fleet availabilitySound understanding of maintenance planning, productivity and workshop cost controlStrong leadership and people management capabilityAbility to effectively prioritise maintenance requirements within a high-production construction environmentDemonstrated commitment to safety and high-quality workmanshipPrevious mining, FIFO or large-scale civil construction experience will be highly regardedConstruction White CardValid C Class driver's licence, with HR licence highly regardedStrong alignment with our values: Care, Integrity and ExcellenceIf you're an experienced maintenance leader looking for your next FIFO opportunity supporting a major Pilbara civil project, we want to hear from you.We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive teamWe welcome applicants of all cultures, backgrounds and identities; people with disabilities, members of the LGBTIQ+ community, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and current or former members of the Australian Defence Force, including veterans and reservists.
