* Assisting qualified technicians with vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
* Support vehicle repairs to meet WOF, COF, safety and operational standards.
* Build your technical skills through structured on-the-job training
* Learning diagnostic and fault-finding techniques
* Carrying out inspections under supervision
* Maintaining workshop tools, equipment, and work areas
About the Candidate
As an Automotive Apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience while completing your trade qualification, working alongside skilled technicians to maintain and repair a diverse range of military vehicles and equipment that are critical to Current Zealand Defence Force operations.
You'll learn on the job, build practical skills and develop a strong foundation for a rewarding career in the automotive industry., * Pre-trade technical training or work experience within the trade essential
* NCEA Level 1
* Full Class 1 motor vehicle Licence
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic and willing to learn
* A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* An ability to meet and maintain a NZ Security Clearance
