Bayside Health was formed following the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health on 1 January ****.About the DepartmentRenal Medicine is part of the Alfred Care Group Specialty Medicine program.
The Renal service provides a broad range of care across all aspects of acute and chronic kidney disease, dialysis and kidney transplantation.
The Alfred Care Group Renal team of doctors, specialist nursing and allied health staff provide inpatient care (general, transplant and consult ward service), outpatient clinics, home dialysis, satellite dialysis (Caulfield and Sandringham campuses), and kidney transplantation.
Alfred Care Group Renal service also provides hub support for dialysis care across the Peninsula Care Group and Regional Care Group catchments.
