About the role

We are a Plastic Surgery Practice based in North Adelaide seeking a highly organised, reliable and hard working Registered/Enrolled Nurse to join our team. The applicant will need to be able to assist doctor with examinations and procedures.

Key responsibilities
Assisting doctor with examinations, procedures and wound care management
Providing patient education and following up on patients' postoperative progress where appropriate
Ensuring a clean, secure and well stocked clinical setting
Cleaning and sterilising the instruments

About you
Current registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Previous nursing experience in working in similar setting or hospital is desirable
Robust clinical skills and knowledge of surgical nursing practices
Excellent communication skills
Commitment in delivering high quality patient centered care
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Basic knowledge on wound care and sterilising is an advantage
