And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.YOUR ROLELead and continuously improve Systems Engineering and System Safety frameworks across the Munitions businessSupport bids and projects by applying tailored systems engineering methods to deliver protected high‐quality solutionsManage and develop a team of System Safety Engineers, overseeing workload, performance and growthDrive discipline uplift across engineering teams and act as a mentor and technical authorityCollaborate with customers,
partners and cross‐functional teams to deliver complex engineering outcomesContribute to project leadership by fostering innovation, ensuring timely delivery and upholding safety and complianceYOUR EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical or equivalent) with eligibility for Chartered Engineer and NER registrationProven experience in similar engineering roles within design and manufacturing environmentsCapability using frameworks such as DDQS and MIL‐STD‐882Strong engineering fundamentals, including first‐principles calculations, configuration management and understanding of quality systemsHigh level interpersonal, organisational and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft OfficeDesirable experience in agile environments and familiarity with Defence operationsAUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITYA Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.Additional information with regards to clearances is available from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website *******************************/.
